Shavano Park – Chipper Day August 19th 9:00am – Noon

 

Shavano Park Fire Department and the Firewise program will be hosting a Chipper Day this Saturday which will allow resident to bring brush and yard debris to the Shavano Park Fire Department for chipping and disposal.

This is a perfect opportunity to clean brush and undergrowth from your Shavano Park Real Estate property while helping to prevent the spread of wildfires. This event will be on August 19th, 2017 between 9am and noon.

The chipper will be located in the parking lot in front of Public Works on Saddletree directly behind the Fire Station.  No material larger than 4” in diameter will be accepted. Please contact Chief Michael Naughton if you have any questions.
